English Premier League 2022: After another postponed match for Tottenham Hotspur, it is getting difficult to get points on the table. With only 19 Premier League games under their belts, they had accumulated 36 points as of yesterday’s encounter. With eleven wins, three draws and five losses, Tottenham have gathered their strength to compete and fight for the top four positions. Spurs have excelled after Antonio Conte signed as the manager and have shown prospects for the qualifier for UEFA Champions League next season.
In an away match against Leicester City in King Power Stadium, Conte decided to go with a 3-5-2 formation with Spurs. Upon recent rescheduling of the London Derby against Arsenal, it was necessary for Spurs to bag in the points. After a tense duel in which Spurs appeared to have lost all hope, Bergwijn scored splendid goals in the 90+5th and 90+7th minutes. As Bergwijn scored his second goal not only did he win the match for Spurs but also confirmed Conte’s 8th consecutive win in Premier League.
