Although his recovery was in progress, he felt better and took part in the Cup. Tsitsipas mentions that his injury gets better day by day and if he was to follow his doctor’s suggestions and take the right precautions, he will be able to perform with his full strength at the Australian Open.

At first, his doctor was a little hesitant in his recovery before the Australian Open, but the Greek player said that even his doctor was surprised to see his recovery compared to the other players his doctor had treated before. His main goal currently is, “to walk on the court and practice some serves without pain.”

Tsitsipas in the Grand Slam’s first tournament, the Australian Open will be competing for his first major title.
